The Beginning
I see knitting as the beginning my journey as an artist. In high school, I had developed issues keeping still during class. Because of this, I decided to teach myself how to knit. This ended up being not only a successful coping skill for my attention deficit, but also allowed for open creation and discovery. These first few garments represent the initiation of the journey, of the work, and allowed for the transformation into my current work as shown below.

The Undefined Series
The preceding and following images display components of my hand-knit series Undefined, which consists of both functional garments and fine art knits, all that feature a repetition of orb-like modules.
All of the works shown are hand-knitted from all hand-dyed yarns and the surface technique featured are specific to each piece.
